How to remove mask trace ?

Hi,

I don't want this mark made by a mask, how can I remove it please ?

you are not seeing the mask overlay, but the result matte composite out of combination of the effect and the mask. the mask render first, then effects - causing this outline. you should work your way around the problem like setting the mask in a different layer and use it as an alpha matte. alpha matte will render last so effects, then masks...

Thank you for the answer, I found a "toggle mask and shape path visibility" it was enabled in blue, I clicked on it but you can still see the trace of the mask...

you need to create you matte in a different way. There is another approach than the one I mentioned that is easier - Try this:

Twirl down the difference matte effect in the timeline panel and you will see a Plus sign in the compositing options. Click on the plus sign. Now the effect will be restricted to the mask but in a different manner That won't introduce the edge.

yes I see now the second approach won't do. the effect is only applied on the mask section but the layer is rendered as well. so the first approach works. Great
