what is wrong with my overlayer?

hello there! I have a Kind of a "Problem".

as you can see my layer is Kind of cut off

which kinda annoys me because I Need the "Workspace" and not the space where I see all the files I'm working with.

does anybody know how I can make the Workspace bigger (red line)?
