After Effects 2017 14.2 Update - Missing Layer Photoshop Import - Help

I just updated to AE 2017 14.2 from 14.1 and no longer am able to import a layered PSD. In the past I could just import>select file and a pop up window would show up asking if I wanted to import the layers from photoshop. This is no longer happening when I import a PSD. AE is just importing my PSD as a flat layer. Is there another way to import layered PSDs now or was this function removed?

Please help. Thank you!

make sure your PSD file is set to RGB.

if this does not help, show us screenshot step by step so we can monitor your process (or a screen capture)
