Adobe Photoshop CS6 not showing changes in realtime anymore

This is driving me crazy! For example, anytime I add text or hide a picture I have to zoom in or zoom out to see the change. Why is this happening all of a sudden?

Odd Photoshop behavior is often cured by deleting the preference file.
