I just started the Photoshop + Lightroom plan and now I'm missing my scrubby zoom menu. How do I ensure I have the full version of Photoshop CC 2017?

If Enable Narrow Options Bar is checked in Photoshop Preferences, the scrubby zoom checkbox will not show up.

Be sure to uncheck it and restart Photoshop.

If you open a file in Photoshop and select the Zoom tool in the toolbox, there should be a check box for Scrubby Zoom.

If you don't see it, then your graphics card does not support Scrubby Zoom.

Thanks so much for your help! Finding the preferences, unchecking the "enable..." worked!

Instead of 'if you don't see it', I meant to say, 'if it's grayed out your graphics card doesn't support it.

If you don't see it, then as Gener7 said, uncheck Enable Narrow Options Bar.

Thanks so much for responding. I super appreciate the Adobe community responsiveness as a newer user. I use it on Mac and PC and I have an intous I am using and configuring. I super enjoy my Lynda lessons and I'm seeing it's a lot more powerful than all the other photo editing apps I've been using.

Photoshop is powerful and that brings complexity. You are in good hands with the instructors on Lynda.com, but sometimes there are items they can't cover, especially technical or configuration issues. So hopefully we can help when what you see in the lesson does not quite match up with what you see on your copy of Photoshop.
