Looking for laptop suggestions to run CC 2017, primarily Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator.  I've been to the Adobe systems requirements page, but it's very confusing since they list different requirements for all three softwares.  Anyone have a suggestion for a laptop that would run all three of these?

Thank you

As I stated above, I've already been to that page...  There is no hardware recommendation for multiple programs.

All you really need is something with good RAM, 6GB at least, other than that there's not much of a difference in what you get, just make sure to stay away from Asus, Lenovo, and anything else owned by that Chinese company.

The computer specs for individual software are mere recommendations.  You must take into consideration all the other requirements essential to run your OS + peripherals + email, games, etc...   The more you do with your device means the more resources you need to support those activities.  If you do a lot of 3D or motion graphics or use a lot of PS filters & plugins, your requirements will be greater than one who doesn't.   A cheap, under powered laptop is not going to give you a good experience. So buy the best computer you can afford even if that means moving to a desktop.  Look for a fast CPU, generous physical & RAM memory, a good graphics card & video display.

Happy shopping!

Amy

There are 3 important topics to keep in mind.

  • 1 The most important thing is the processor, any one can be good, Intel, AMD, etc, but the most important thing is the 64 bit , because with 32 bits you will not be able to experience the great speed that Mercury offers you.
  • 2 The memory of the video card, which should be greater than 500 MB, to be able to experiment with the most impressive visual options of Creative Cloud ™.
  • 3 RAM should be expandable as much as possible. minimum recommended 8GB.

It is important to check all other system requirements, but those soon the indispensable ones.
