Anyone know how to do editable text for importing into Premiere now? There's no longer a template option in my Composition Settings or in Export as these pages say to do, Create editable live text template compositions in After Effects or Use Live Text templates from After Effects in Premiere Pro | .

I have several editable text compositions I can't change and need to. Thanks for any answers you have.

It is now automatic. Don't lock a text layer in the timeline and you can edit it in Premiere Pro. See the new feature notes: New features summary for the 2017 release of After Effects CC

If using the Essential Graphics Tab to export templates.

Make sure you drag "Source text" as a comment or option into the Essential Graphics Panel within After Effects.

As mentioned above make sure the layer is unlocked and visible for the export to translate through.
