After Effects doesn't start, but runs in the background.

Just installed After Effects CC. Every time I try to open it, nothing happens. I checked the task manager, and it's there under background services. This is the 2nd time I've installed it, and I've rebooted my PC every time I've installed. No change. Running Windows 10 Version 1703 OS Build 15063.250. All other CC apps I've installed (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Audition) work fine.

What antivirus software are you using?

Double-check your firewall settings.
