Hello,
trying to setup LR mobile on my ipad. Neither the desktop nor ios version allow connection to the cloud and basically tell me my subscription has expired. I have been logging in with the same adobe id, desktop apps are working fine (except for syncing to the cloud) and there is still 6 months on my subscription.
Thanks.

Hi evanathomas,
May I know if you are a subscriber of Creative Cloud Photography plan?
PM me your Adobe_ID and I'll check that.
Also, refer this article Problem syncing photos with Lightroom mobile and let us know if that helps.
Thanks,
Akash

Hi Evan,
I am getting this checked.
Could you please check with the organization whether they've included "Lightroom mobile" subscription or not?

Hi Akash,
Not sure if you can see this without a login but this how I purchased my CC subscription.
This is copied from that page. It seems like mobile is included?
What's Included in Creative Cloud?
It's a membership that gives you access to all of Adobe's photography, design, video, and web apps on all your desktop and mobile devices. If you're a student or a teacher, you're eligible for big savings.
Thanks,
Evan.

The OnTheHub Estore is itself powered by Kivuto.
Check with your institution's IT/Administration (Contact Us | OnTheHub | Save on Minitab, SPSS, EndNote, Parallels and More) to understand what products and services are available to you through their licensing agreement.Being a reseller, they can let you know what type of subscription you've got. Creative Cloud memberships redeemed from Kivuto may not include access to Lightroom mobile - depending on what licensing your institution offers for your home use.

Hi Akash,
predictably enough, OnTheHub don't see this as their problem. I have included their response below. It is surprising to me that adobe don't know what product they are providing to me. I've already contacted adobe support who refused to help me and told me to post on this forum. To make matters worse, I discovered that it's not just syncing that doesn't work but I can't even edit raw files. I am becoming frustrated with this.
Here is OnTheHub's response:
Hello Evan,
Support for the Adobe site and all products on it is provided directly by Adobe. Please direct your inquiry to them through one of the channels listed below. They should be able to provide the assistance you need.
Kind regards,

Hi Akash,
I appreciate your looking at this for me.
I did the PM on chrome on windows and the form was badly rendered, the text was the light grey place holder text and ran outside the text input.
My id is <Edited by Staff>, the same as this email.
Thanks,
Evan

Hi Evans,
I just checked the details and confirmed that your subscription does not include Lightroom mobile services.
Thanks,

Hi Akash,
finally some clarity! Given that the only description of the subscription I have implies I do have access to LR mobile, can you give a link to the terms and conditions of my subscription and I follow up with my institution. Also, given that it seems I have to buy an entire new subscription to get access to this one feature, and I don't need the feature all the time, can you tell me how I can do this on a month by month basis rather having to pay for a year at a time.
Thanks again,
Evan.

Hi Evan,
Sure, You may refer this article Lightroom mobile unavailable to Education memberships purchased from Kivuto
Regarding the subscription, You can get access to Lightroom mobile and other services by getting a personal membership to the Creative Cloud Photography plan, Creative Cloud all apps, or Creative Cloud for teams.
Thanks,
Akash

Hi Akash,
obviously this doesn't answer either of my questions, but nevermind. If I buy a photography subscription, in addition to the complete CC subscription that I already have, will be I able to seamlessly use the mobile apps on my ipad, and the desktop apps, including the apps that are part of my original subscription (i.e. premiere pro and illustrator) and sync between them? To put it another way, will the desktop CC be able to cope with the fact I have two subscriptions to a the CC suite?
Thanks again,
Evan.
