Hello, Suddenly all my Edit tools became in-Active, I cannot use the Free Transform and a lot of other options. All became Grey and not functional.

please advise how to activate them. Thanks

Either first Select All (cmd-A) or change the Layer from a Background Layer by double-clicking it.

Could you please post a screenshot taken at View > 100% and with the pertinent Panels (Layers, Channels, Options Bar, …) visible?

usually I right click on a Pic,then open with adobe and then Edit. now Edit is inactive.

What type of image is in your document and what is the bit depth? Many tools are not available at 16 bits and above.
