Import dialog does not open

For years I have had LR preferences, Import Options set to "Show Import dialog when a memory card is detected". It seems this great feature has some how slipped away. Is there a straight forward method to getting this option working again ?

I understand that you are facing trouble using the option "Show Import dialog when a memory card is detected". Please let us know the version of Lightroom and operating system you are using now.

Also, have you check the Lightroom preferences > General > Import Options >"Show Import dialog when a memory card is detected" option should be checked.
