AE 2017 stalling during render

Hi Guys,

I have a project due tomorrow and AE is all of a sudden rendering at a snails pace. It exports fine for the first minute then grinds to a halt.

Yesterday I rendered the same comp out in around 15min. Now it's saying 5+ hours! Settings haven't changed and it's set to Classic 3D render.

Specs

AMD Ryzen 1700X 3.7ghz

Nvidia 1080Ti 11gb

32gb RAM

Any ideas would be most appreciated.

Does clearing caches help?

Or, did you possibly clear the caches before you started this render? That would explain the change in rendering times!

Did it stop recognizing your GPU?

How are you rendering? AE's render queue or AME? What are your rendering settings?

I know you say settings haven't changed, but SOMETHING certainly seems to!
