I want to import three movie files to photoshop by using the place tool so that I can transform each one. .

I've been going FILE - PLACE EMBEDDED/LINKED - choosing the file and placing it - then transforming its dimensions/location.

However from the moment it has been placed it does not seem to be a movie file any longer, but just the first still of the film.

How do I get the files to stay as movies and play simultaneously?!
Really appreciate any help!

Thanks : )

I have moved your question from the Lounge to the Photoshop forum.

Placing the files makes them into a smart object that you can transform.

You need to create a video timeline not a frame animation. It sounds like you may done the latter.

If that is not the cause please post screenshots of your layers panel and timeline
