What is the latest version of Lightroom?

As title, a colleague is wondering if she has the latest version of Lightroom installed ...

I know the CC app should keep updated to the most recent version (which is shown as 2015) but I would appreciate confirmation...

The latest stand-alone version is LR6.8 – update from the help menu

The latest CC version is 2015.8 – update from the Apps tab in CC desktop.

Direct download links can also be used to update if the above methods don’t work.

Update from Help Menu does not offer version 6.8.  It's also not on the Adobe web site.
