Hi anthonys95228849,

Looks like you got your problem resolved on the Feedback forums - https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/since-upgrading-to-cc-2015-12-im-having-problems-with-importing-3…

Let me know if that's incorrect. Otherwise, I'll mark this thread with an answer.

Thanks,

Melissa

The files import ok but then there is an 'Unidentified Problem' pop-up and each thumb-nail shows a black '!'... My MacBook which I haven't updated imports the same files ok.

Do mean 3f files? Is the file extension FFF?

Do the files come from a scanner or a digital camera?

If they come from a scanner, Lightroom cannot import them - scan as Tiff instead.

There is a plugin that will let you open fff scanner files in Photoshop, but it only works with CS5 and older.

I just tried installing the plugin in Photoshop CS6 and CC, but it didnt work.

These are .3fr files from my Hasselblad H3d 50... import from the card via USB 3 reader... (as always) Every thing working perfectly until this latest upgrade, now although files will import Lightroom can't process them... this also includes all the files I have previously imported and have in my library...
