"Resize window to initial page" does not work anymore

I'm using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro (v9.5.5) for macOS.

Whenever I open a PDF document for the first time I go into the Document Properties and activate "Resize window to initial page" (and, of course, save and close the document). When I then open the document again, the window is nicely trimmed to the document size and does not cover anymore more or less completely my 27" monitor.

This worked fine until the day before yesterday. However, since yesterday this does not work anymore for new PDF documents. It still works for old documents (they open as wanted), but activating this feature for any new PDF document does not work - they open as before in huge windows.

Is there a way to get this fixed? Thanks.

Hi Kposer,

Sorry for the delay in repsonse.

As per above mentioned description, initial view settings not working for new pdfs in Acrobat 9, is that correct?

Please refer to the following link discussing this topic:

Acrobat 9 Ingores Document Initial View Settings

Adobe Acrobat DC does not respect "initial view" settings

Thanks,
