Hello Hello
I have created a 40 pages Indesign doc with many pictures. when the transfer took place with publish online a message advised me that a problem was detected and my doc will not be available as a pdf to be downloaded by people who have the link.
I have checked the doc can be seen but not uploaded.
Does anyone have an idea which problem could occur ?
I have exported a pdf from indesign which weight is 21,2 Mo - Do you think weight could be the reason ?
Thanking you in advance,
Have a nice weekend

Hi Ladycoton from Bordeaux,
As per the description, when you upload your document it gives error "doc will not be available as a PDF to be downloaded by people who have the link."
I am assuming that "allow viewers to download document as PDF(Option)" is unchecked. Please find the screenshot below and make sure that it is checked.
If this does not help, we would require some details like:
Awaiting your response.

Hi Srishti
I have updated my last document but unfortunately it remains not available for download.
In fact I have noticed that the 3 documents which are on my dashboard have the same pb none can be downloaded.
when searching on the web, I have seen this explanation as below - the « G » output is missing
I have checked that I have checked « Allow viewers to download doc as pdf …
My info is :
Indesign 2017.1
OSX Yosemite 10.10.5
Here is the link to have a glance at my last doc:
https://indd.adobe.com/view/674ae07f-f7da-4be1-8eb5-1eeb3968b7b4
If you want to see my doc and maybe you’ll be able to explain me where the pb is
thanking you in advance,
Patricia (Ladycoton from Bordeaux)

Hi Srishti
Thank you for your answer.
I will no longer use this document with pictures running on two pages.
I am making another book (with size slightly different) so there will be pictures on the left and some others on the right and hopefully it will work, if not I will come back to the help forum ...
Thanking you anyhow for your help.
regards

I just answered to you 20 minutes ago (see my previous mail).
but but ….. 5 minutes ago (just after having sent my reply to you I had an idea ) I did upload another document to make a test and the button download is available
the thing is this last document doesn’t have pictures running on two pages like it is the case with the 3 previous documents which are on my dashboard
could it be the reason why it doesn’t work ?
Here is the link of this very last document (the one that it works) https://indd.adobe.com/view/84fa4c10-9e2d-4282-b07a-a7751c8b3b0a
thanking you in advance for your answer
have a nice weekend
