I have a couple of general questions about indesign.

What can be taken from indesign and animated in after effects?

I was thinking about tables? and having them unfold (become visible) line by line, or is that best done in after effects from scratch?

Indesign can make interactive ebooks, can I embed after effects animations, music, and 2D effects into those ebook pages in indesign? Epub, kindle and ibooks output. (I wanted to create interactive animated ebooks, maybe its better done in after effects if largely image/animation based)...or as an application.

thankyou,

Generally, you can export jpg, png, and pdf out of InDesign. Especially the first two would be consumable by AfterEffects.

AE can make mp4 video files which can be placed into InDesign for epubs, for example.
