AE 2017.2 Buggy

Anyone else having a lot of crashes in the latest update of After Effects 2017.2?

I'm noticing excessive crashing during the following operations:

* Starting and stopping playback

* Navigating around the viewport while holding the space bar

* Typing layer names, folder names, and while using the text tool

* Adjusting masks and rotoscoping

* Sending renders to Media Encoder

That's all I've noticed so far, i'll update if any other patterns develop. It's crashing enough for me to change my auto save setings from every 15 minute to every 5 minutes.

I haven't experienced that. Double check that your AE version is 14.2.1.

What OS?

What GPU? Some of these sound like GPU issues. Try turning off the "hardware accelerate...panels" option in the preferences.
