Win 7, PC, InDesign CC 2017, 12.1.0.56 x64 Build. This happens no matter what document (large or small) or IF I don't even have a document open.

On another computer (similar specs as above) (I have a personal subscription to CC and my business subscription to CC...different computers) with 12.0.0.81x64 Build this does not happen! So the update causes the issue.

Anyone else with this issue and better yet...anyone have an answer to this maddening issue?

thanks...

On the computer where you have the crashes, try restoring preferences:

Trash, Replace, Reset, or Restore the application Preferences
