Problem with exporting from smart objects !

Hello everyone!

I'm trying to export multiple size assets from smart objects. The images that should be 0.5x in size are coming with strange artifacts. I noticed that during the process of exporting, somehow photoshop manages not to allow to scale down the effects inside the smart object (strokes, shadows). For example if I have a smart object, with a layer inside with a stroke of 4px, when exporting with 0.5x size, the stroke size is not changing and  half size exported image still has a 4px stroke.

Can anyone help me out? I've attached examples of what I'm getting below.

How are you exporting? Are you resizing the document and then exporting?

If you're not using Adobe Generator, I suggest taking a look at that: Create image assets from layers in Photoshop
