Lightroom Slideshow Audio Does Not Fade Out

In the preview of a slideshow, the audio fades out at the end. However, when exported to .mp4 format (the only option LR gives me) and played in QuickTime, the music has a hard abrupt stop. Does anyone else have this same issue?

I'm working with the latest version of Mac OS X.
