Folders keep disappearing from my library!!!!

For some reason the folders for every month in 2017 except for january and sometimes july keeps disappearing from my library and I keep having to reimport thousands of photos. Please help this is horrible.

Possibilities-

The folders are located under a different year parent folder- have you searched all? Being able to re-import photos would suggest not.

Is it possible you are opening different catalogs? (Importing in one will not appear in another.)

Are you able to edit photos from a folder before it "Disappears"?

I suspect you are opening an older catalog.

Do a search of your drive for .lrcat and see how many catalog files you have.
