Import Issues

So I'm importing some photos (TIFs) into Lightroom that have already undergone edits (I don't know in what program they were edited in but my guess is Lightroom and/or Photoshop). After I import the images and click on them, the photo changes completely and looks very different from the original file. The temperature is way too high and there may be other changes but I don't have the time to guess at what all changed. I don't know why this is happening and any advice would be welcome.

One possibility is that there is a develop preset being applied at Import. Make sure the field in the Import dialog box that says Develo Settings says None or is blank.
