Plugins failed to load in After Effects after update

All was working well but after the update After effects can no longer import video files into new projects.

I get this error on startup

Thanks for any help with this.

BTW I was on a call with Adobe about this and they rebuilt the preference which did not work and then told me to do an uninstall and reinstall.

I did this too and this did not work. They had told me that if this did not work that it was a microsoft issue.

THis seems wrong to me as it was working before the update.

I am running windows 10.

Check your system's network and security stuff. This typically happens when something gets blocked.

Like what?? Nothing has been changed in those settings.

BTW Premiere also can not import mP4 files though it does not give errors on startup.

This looks like a copy of your earlier post. Here's a solution for you: After Effects error on launch, and can't import any videos - 3 MediaCore plugins can't be loaded
