Grainy images when opened on Photoshop CC unless it is zoomed in.

When I open PhotoShop CC to work on an image, the image is very grainy unless I zoom in. The image is NOT grainy when I open it on RAW nor is it grainy on Bridge. The image is also perfect when it is printed even on a large canvas. The only issue is the Photoshop screen. Once I zoom in at 33.3 percent, the image is clear again. This is a recent problem. I get my updates automatically. What is going on? HELP!
