Hi:

I have multiple objects that need to link back to the table of contents.  I created the link in word but it didn't translate over.  So I was wondering if there was a way to create a shortcut or macro that will do this without having to select each object individually then go thru the steps of right click-create link-etc...

Is there a way to record my actions one time and have it saved so I can just click that one action going forward?

You can create a Named Destination and then have both your bookmark and your link point to it. Then they will in effect be doing the same thing, and if you edit the Named Destination both will update automatically to point to its new location.
