I have an series 20 of medical drawings in 20 different "group layers". Each group has 4 layers. I would like to apply the same 4 layer styles to each of the group. Any faster way then copying each layer style successively to each group layer ? Can I name each layer in each group the same way for instance layer "cortex", layer "ventricle", layer "nucleus" and layer "parenchyma" and define a layer style that would apply to each of these layer in all 20 groups ?
Thanks for suggestions.

You could make a new style and apply it to the group. Or you could create an action and apply the styles by the action.

well each group has 4 layers and each has different style... The actions sounds the least troublesome approach in fact. Thanks

Hi
Actions would be a way but remember you can copy a layer style then use Ctrl Click to highlight all the layers that you want to paste into (in your case the first/second/third/fourth in every group) - then paste the layer style into all those highlighted layers in one go.

Yes that is a great idea but it is 20 times 4 layers and even undocking the layer panel and stretching it over 2 monitors it is hard to get .. but indeed it could be done in 2-3 operations ! Thanks for the idea !
