Tried packaging a file and now Indesign 2017 CC crashes at each start up

Please help!! I've no idea what has happened. Tried installing the adobe copyplugin and it says the programme was updated successfully but still Indesign crashes with a Problem Report:

Hi,

I hope you have a copy of your file that is not corrupt.

Cn you try once after cleaning your cache and preferences? Troubleshooting 101: Replace, or "trash" your InDesign preferences

Also, which plugin are u referring to?

No, start by resetting preferences as shown in Aman's link:

Troubleshooting 101: Replace, or "trash" your InDesign preferences

There are two ways to do it. Try one, restart. If it doesn't work, try the other, restart. Come back and let us know.
