making a character dance

hello guys i have made a small character on photoshop

and i have separated every part of the body with different layer

and i would like to make it dance like this

everythink is ok until i have to pass the arm behind

someone know how to change the order of a layer (here the arm)  in the animation and then make it back to normal again ?

Just have two layers for each arm, one above the body and one below.  At a point where the arm is at it's greatest angle switch to the other layer.  You can do this by moving the in and out points of the layers so the "above" layer ends right where the "below" layer begins.
