Hello,

a while ago I installed CS6. But since then my indesign is not working. It starts to open and then there is a massage that says: there are some Problems we Need to Close the program.

I am wondering what to do..

Thanks for your help

best Laura

What operating system are you running?

Have you tried restoring your preferences? Here's how:

Trash, Replace, Reset, or Restore the application Preferences

Hi Laura,

As per your query InDesign CS6 is not working.

Please try resetting preferences for InDesign. For details click here Set preferences in Adobe InDesign

If it still does not help, we would need some information like:

Operating System(Exact Version of Windows or MAC)

Regards

Srishti

CS6 is unsupported under Windows 10. Beyond trashing preferences, the only suggestion I have is to run the application in Windows 7 compatibility mode.

Here's an easy way to reset your preferences:

Close InDesign. Then hold down Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or Cmd + Ctrl + Opt + Shift (Mac), and relaunch InDesign. Respond in the affirmative to the dialog asking if you really want to replace the preferences.

But if using InDesign is mission critical to your work you should considerer upgrading to InDesign CC2015/2017.
