Same folder showing up twice

Recently my main Lightroom directory (I keep every photo in) suddenly split into two folders with the same name. It only appears this way inside Lightroom, not in my OS X finder. Lightroom shows a different item count for each folder. If I go "Show in Finder" when right clicking on each folder from Lightroom, it displays the same folder in the Finder. Strange.

I'm not sure how it happened. All I've ever done is add a new sub-folders (with new sets of photos) to that main directory. Been doing this for years with no issue.

If anyone has any suggestions to fix this, it would much appreciated. Thanks!
