I'm trying to set up 5 tabs on one line. I want for there to be a dot leader between all of the tabs except for the first one. Does any know if it's possible to do this? So far, I can only set up with no dot leader on any tabs, or dot leaders on all, but not both.
Sure, it's easy.
1) Set your tabs.
2a) Go to the far-right tab and select it. Change the leader from none to a dot. That applies a dot leader to that tab.
2b) Repeat for the fourth, third, second tabs from the left, working backward. In each case, when you select that tab it applies the dot leader from the left to that tab.
2c) Click on the first tab. Make sure there is no leader set for that tab. Click the OK button.
3) Admire your handiwork.

It's a lot easier to set up tabs when you apply the leaders as separate functions from placing the tabs on your tab ruler. Ask me how I know ...
