I am creating a movie and have imported many video clips (with audio) and audio clips. When the media was originally imported all sound was functional. However, now all clips have no sound. Black audio graphic bars appear on all clips. The speaker icons are not muted on the various tracks. The volume of the computer is at an appropriate level. How do I restore the audio?
What model of camcorder is the video coming from and what is the format and resolution of the video?
How long are your video clips?
Did you wait for these clips to completely conform in the program before you started editing? This process happens pretty quickly on faster computers but can take a bit longer on longer clips. And, if you interrupt the process, you can end up with video with no audio.
