updated Photoshop CC, and now it wont start

I just updated Photoshop CC, and now it wont start. I get the following message: "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). click OK to close the application. I am on a Win 7 Machine, and was running PS earlier this morning...

this is a problem, as I have work that has to go out today.

Try resetting your Photoshop preferences  Ctrl+Alt+Shift or CMD+Option+Shift
