I've never noticed this before, although, I've never tested
this. The same SWF has different memory usage in each browser, and
not just a small difference, a pretty significant one. I'm running
the swf in 3 browsers on a PC, Firefox/IE/Safari. Here is the
memory breakdown:
Firefox: 25-30MB
IE: 7-9MB
Safari: 7-9MB
My question is probably obvious by now.. Why such the huge
difference?? I disabled all add-ons on firefox, making it a fresh
install. Firefox 3.0, IE 7, Safari 3.1.2, all have Flash Player
9
