Hello,

I was forwarded to this forum to have my problem solved when I was seeking help from Adobe Support. I own an older version of Adobe Lightroom and my serial number isn't being recognized as a valid one anymore. What can I do to get this resolved?

Okay, I think I've figured out something. It turns out that I didn't realize I had two versions, Lightroom 3 and 5 on my laptop (honestly have no idea how the 5 got on here). I must have accidentally tried to open the 5 version without realizing it, and that's why it asked for a serial number. My 3 appears to be opening fine!

Give us details. What version NUMBER of Lightroom do you have installed? What version NUMBER of Lightroom did you purchase?

Describe what happens. In detail. Lots and lots of detail. If there is an error message, please quote the exact complete unedited error message, word-for-word. Show us a screen capture. Since we're not sitting with you and we can't see your computer screen, describe so that it's like we can see your computer screen.

I bought Lightroom 3 and that's the version I'm trying to open. I had installed it awhile ago, and had used it on my current laptop, so I'm not sure why I'm having to re-enter my serial number.
