Hi all,

I am doing a data merge with multiple records per page - portrait(image)+name.

This is my csv:

(the images and indd are in the same folder)

list.PNG

When i preview the records with Single Record i can see all the names and faces one by one and it looks ok - all my images appear with the correct name, one by one.

Once I click All records some images and names are duplicated and some don't appear at all.

The correct number of entries appears per page.

Like below:

example 2.PNG

This error only happens with multiple records per page, if i merge 1 per page, I get all my data correctly.

Any ideas why this happens and what can i do to fix it?

For many versions now, there has been a bug in the Preview Multiple Records function. Previewing somehow corrupts the file, and the only thing to fix it is to create a new InDesign file, and run the merge without previewing.
