Create brush strokes as single paths

Hello all! I am new to Adobe Draw, and I am really excited to begin creating with it. My question has to do with how the brush strokes are created; As far as I can tell, when I send to Illustrator, the brush strokes are outlined by default. From what I've read, this is the only option. Will there ever be an option for the strokes to be a single path, so to facilitate using custom brush strokes while on the Ipad, or changing the brush when in Illustrator? Hopefully this makes sense. Thank you!

Hi Chip.

Yes it totally makes sense. This request comes up with some frequency. Unfortunately I still don't know whether changing that drawing algorithm is being/will be considered.
