Keyboard short cut not working

The keyboard short cut ( shift delete) isn't working for content aware fill! Anyone know why this may be happening?

The delete key by itself will trigger Content Aware with a Background layer (I has to have the little lock icon).  If it is not a Background layer, then you need to use Shift F5. That opens the Fill dialog box, from which you can select CAF.
