Macbook Pro (15 inch 2016) screen flickers going into Develop module

After each restart of Lightroom, the first time I go into the Develop module, the screen flickers and takes a second to redraw the photo. Then all works as it should.

This does not happen on an subsequent transitions to or from the Develop module as long as I have not quit and restarted Lightroom.  It happens whether or not the "Use Graphics Processor" is selected in the Preferences.

My configuration is:

Macbook Pro (15 inch 2016), 16 GB Memory, Radeon Pro 450 (2MB) and Intel HD Graphics 530, 2.6 GHz Core i7

Lightroom CC 2015.12

Thoughts?

Hi Rob,

Rendering images in Lightroom develop module might take few seconds to load. Could you please try the suggestions mentioned in Optimize Lightroom performance and let us know if that helps.

Thanks,

Akash

Those things do not seem to make a difference.  Also, this issue did not happen on my Early 2011 model Macbook Pro which I used until June of this year.

Thanks

The flickering of screen in any app is related to the graphics processor unit of your computer. Could you please post the Lightroom Help>>System info here for us to review?

Below is the info you requested.  By the way, I took the system to the Apple Store yesterday and they ran system and GPU diagnostics and all came back normal...

Thanks
