Renaming Named Destinations

I have  PDF file with around 100 named destinations. I open the PDF in Acrobat and I have to rename some of the named destinations.

When I start this and save the document, close Acrobat and re-open the PDF, only some of the changes are kept, and most of the named destinations are back to the original text / name.

Any suggestions are more than welcome.
