My kindle is connected to my computer. I see it in my files explorer but it's not showing up in ADE. Trying to transfer some downloaded books.

Kidle work not with adobe IDs so Digital Edition detectet no this reader.

Kindle ebooks use a different system, not epub. If you need to transfer epub books to the kindle you must convert them to mobi books. Calibre can do this or Google epub converter.
