Every time I use the Find function, the app crashes and closes. I cannot find anything within any document. This started about 10 days or so ago. The software is up to date.

If I open a PDF within my Crome browser, there is no problem in using Find.

Hi Webman_Dave,

Please try to repair the installation. If you are on Windows, launch the application and go to Help menu > Repair Installation.

As the application crashing, try the troubleshooting steps provided here:

Mine crashes all the time (Mac) as well... (s/b continuously updated).

Not only is this very frustrating, but, unlike other applications, my open documents do NOT reopen when I restart.

And, the Home tab only shows a few - if any - that actually WERE opened recently... And yes, I have the preference set to the maximum, which is 100...

For example, the list on the home tab is in a good mood today, I guess, as it DOES show SOME files back through 2 days ago (sometimes it only includes ancient history)... then jumps back to over 2 months ago!!!

I still have my old Acrobat on my laptop, and it's refreshing to have Open Recent list... recently opened files... with options for how far back you want to go.

BTW - I tricked it by "editing" files I had open - highlighting a single letter or whatever, and not saving it, so they would reopen after a crash... but sometimes I actually get involved in my work and neglect to do that pesky task.

Surely this is a simple issue related to my ignorance. I look forward to correcting it.
