Target in pre-prod and prod.

Assuming there is 1 author instance and 2 Publish instances in Pre prod env and Prod env. How do we manage web properties in DTM for all these environment when the DTM is configured with Adobe Target? Do we need to create web properties for 2 authors and 4 publish servers?

Usually, there is no need to manage Target properties in DTM; instead, you may want to configure hosts in Target (see this article –

Hosts​) to differentiate all type of environments.
