Go to Edit > Preferences > Performance, and uncheck Use graphics processor.

Does that help?

Are you using the full licensed version or the trial version? What platform are you on Windows or Mac? Did this just start happening?

I have the same issue as well.  Using Lightroom 2015 CC on Windows 10 with a Nvidia 960m video card.  I've unistalled and reinstalled and eventually I will get lightroom to work for a few weeks and then it starts again.  Lightroom loads, and then within 30 seconds to a minute will stop responding.

Please respond to the questions asked in the post above.

- GPU activ/deactivated? -> Deactivate!

- Your exact version (CC or 'latest' is not good enough)?

I have an additional issue, it seems that the Creative Cloud App also has stopped responding as well.  I used the Creative Cloud unistaller and re-installed and it just keeps taking me to the login screen but then spins the wheel and takes me to login screen again and then finally will bring up option to Quit or Repair Creative Cloud App.  I also went into AppData and delete the contents of the OOBE folder as one troubleshooting article described.

This is the second time I've encountered this..  As for lightroom I deactivated my GPU and restarted Lightroom and it went into "not responding for about 10 minutes or more and finally loaded.....  Not sure what the issue is but it's definitely not fun..and delays my editing and is extremely frustration when you just want to open it up and have it WORK...

Thanks for your response / question! I appreciate it!
