Hi. I have an accordion menu pinned to the top on the master page. On my site there's a responsive gallery widget. When i click the pictures it opens a dialog box. Problem is that the closing "X" is hiding behind the top menu.
I tried to pin the gallery, but that is no good. I also tried to make an invisible box above the widget to force it down a little - this didn't work.
Please take a look at www.hege.dk to see what I mean - just click any of the pictures in the top row.
Just for future reference I now unpinned my top menu on the master, and the closing x is now visible because it pushes the top menu up. it comes back down nicely when I close on the x. Not the best solution, but it works for now. At least there's a closing X visible...

The site doesn’t load. Only a blank page is shown.

well- that's another problem - it loads very VERY slowly, so I will go through my assets to see if any of them are crazy big - but it should load after a while!! Please try again

Now it is loading.
Could you please specify precisely where and under which condition this happens? I can’t reproduce it.
Please give us a step by step instruction, how to see the issue (and at which breakpoint!).
A screenshot showing the wrong behaviour should help as well.

sorry - here's a screen dump
The red arrow pointing to the almost hidden X.
I would like the content to start lower so that the X is visible - like just like a cm down.

As this is a 3rd party widget, it would be better to ask the vendor.
If you are dealing with MuseTheme’s „Rapid Reveal“ widget try this:
• Open the widgets configuration panel.
• Go to „Navigation Settings“.
• Deselect the option „Enable Scrolling to Preview“.

Ok, that is not an option in this widget.
But let me try to ask another way.
Is it possible to force the accordion-like effect down from the top (as if it's locked in top position) instead of now when it looks like it pushes upward?

As I said: No idea, which widget you are using – and if: I don’t use such widgets.
Perhaps other users now, what to do, it you tell us, which widget you are using in this case.

I don’t know this widget. But I think, you can’t change its behaviour in any way.
MuseThemes has a quite similar one, which allows to switch off scrolling upwards: https://www.muse-themes.com/products/rapid-reveal

I am not a member... So I will make this work!! It must be possible to set a key position at -XX px or something like that.
Or should I move the top menu from the master and on to the page - could that in any way help me?

No. I think there is no chance to fix this.
The only chance may be, to reposition the „Close“ button. But if, this were possible, you would already have realised it.

I assumed, that this works, but, as you said, it is not the intended solution.
