Since I updated to version 9.12, Camera Raw makes my computer crash completely. (I work on an old Mac Pro (2008), 2 x 2,8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon).

Can I go back to the previous version of Camera Raw?

See if unchecking Use Graphics Processor in the Camera Raw Preferences makes any difference.

Go to Photoshop CC>Preferences>Camera Raw, uncheck Use Graphics Processor and then restart photoshop.

It's possible, depending on your graphics card, you can download updated drivers from Nvidia or AMD Radeon

and that might cure the crash of camera raw with Use Graphics Processor enabled.

Hello,

I'm having the same issue but on Windows 10. I have the newest Nvidia drivers installed.

If I open a .CR2 file in Photoshop or Bridge the application crashed. I tried to disable 'Use Graphics Processor' but that didn't make a difference.

You unchecked Use Graphics Processor in the Camera Raw Preferences?

You might have to uncheck Use Graphics Processor in the photoshop preferences and then restart photoshop and try a cr2 file.
