I am trying to use the radial tool in a camera raw filter in photoshop.  Rather than give me a circle or ellipse, a rectangle appears and then the image zooms into the area.  I do not have the magnifying tool selected, I checked.  I was actually just tested all of the tools that are above and they all do this.  What is wrong???

Please post screenshots.

Does disabling Photoshop > Preferences > Camera Raw > Use Graphics Processor and restarting have any bearing on the issue?

Hello,

Usually, a keyboard shortcut might give you that behavior: are you sure you do not inadvertently press on CTRL(PC) CMD(MAC), or the space bar?

Also, are Photoshop and Camera Raw up to date? Which versions of both are you running?
