uninstall and re-install

I get this strange error when I attempt to open a file. the only way I can get Animate CC to work is to uninstall and re-install. It works fine however as soon as I close animate after re-installing, I will get error when I open program again.

Any tips or ideas (re-directs to a relative discussion?)

copy that file to your desktop and then next time you see that error, recopy from your desktop back to that directory.  restart animate.  any problem?

if not, look for something (antivirus, antimalware, cleaners) that's corrupting that file.

I believe it was my anti-virus software. I had uninstall the anti-virus software and do a fresh install of both CC and animate. But now things work fine.

I started to get this problem after I updated my anti-virus a few weeks ago, never really put two and two together and made the connection.
